On the 19th of June we are creating an early celebration for both the start of Summer (Summer Solstice) and Cancer season. A beautiful moment to come together as a group of women to celebrate transitioning into a new season. Summer Solstice, happening on June 20, also called Midsummer, is marking the longest day of the year. On this day the Sun travels the longest path through the sky which results in the most daylight on our planet. During this ceremony we will celebrate Summer Solstice, just like in ancient times. Celebrating the light and the warmth of Summer. On that same day the Sun moves in the sign of Cancer, which marks Cancer season. The female archetype connected to this zodiac is the Mother — She nurtures and cares about her family, her tribe, her community. She is the one who keeps it together. She is a true giver and is committed to the family. She knows how to create a safe space for herself and others to be vulnerable. During this ceremony we will work with both the energy of Cancer and the Summer Solstice; set intentions for the seasons and nurture and care about ourself first.
